This beer tastes like what I imagine a pre-Prohibition American pilsener might have tasted like. The body is light and crisp due to the use of a small amount of corn (maize). The hopping rate, at 35 IBU, is what really separates this from mass-market beers. Nevertheless, it isn't overhopped like IPA beers; I dislike IPAs. I really like this nicely balanced American pilsener and I'll definitely buy it again.
