BAYOU MARDI GRAS XO
Rum
750 ML (Standard)
$78.99
Bayou is proudly crafted in Louisiana, using local sugarcane molasses, grown in the rich alluvial soils of the Mississippi River Delta, and produced by the oldest operating American sugar mill since 1829. This Original American Spirit is inspired by the sophistication of New Orleans and grounded in its Cajun roots. INSPIRED BY THE SPIRIT OF MARDI GRAS - Bayou Rum XO Mardi Gras is the pinnacle of Bayou Rum, inspired by the spirit of the New Orleans Mardi Gras celebration. AGED 5 YEARS IN BOURBON CASKS ? and aged 1 additional year in Pedro Ximenez sherry casks, adding more complexity and roundness to this exceptional ultra-premium rum. The humidity created by the bayous, river and tropical climate creates a unique microclimate that allows for a gentler aging process. MULTI-LAYERED AND COMPLEX - hints of orange marmalade and dark stone fruit. Bursts of blackcurrant, prune, and oak, along with a slight sweetness - reminiscent of tupelo honey. The finish is long and pleasantly dry, with notes of honey, black pepper, and sherry. A double cask luxury rum to be savored and sipped neat or on the rocks. HANDCRAFTED IN TRADITIONAL COOPER POT STILLS - and supported by modern state-of-the-art technology.
