Negra is often confused as a Vienna Lager, but it is not representative of the style. Vienna lager uses 90% plus Vienna malt. It will be a much paler, amber color. It is a Munich Dunkel and barely that. It is made with caramel malt, black malt and two and six row malt barley. If looking for true Vienna style, it is hard to find these days. Regardless, Negra is a very flavorful, highly drinkable dark lager beer.
